Go further than HDBaseT
Long-reach mode stretches the link to 150m over Cat 5e/6/6A/7 — enough for campus buildings, factories and large venues.
Make sure it fits your setup.
Choose the right mode
Use long-reach mode for runs over 100m; HDBaseT mode supports full features up to 100m. Set both units the same.
USB 2.0 devices
USB 2.0 and older devices are supported; keep total bandwidth modest for best results.
One transmitter, one receiver
This is a point-to-point kit. For one-to-many distribution, look at AV over IP.

What is a KVM extender?
It extends video and USB over a long distance so a computer can be controlled from somewhere else, such as a server room or control desk.
Can I connect devices other than keyboard and mouse?
Yes, as long as they are USB 2.0 (or older) devices.
What is the DIP switch for?
It sets RS-232 functions, long-reach or HDBaseT mode, and EDID; set both units to match.
