4KIP200E is the source-side encoder in a matched AV Access distribution system. Combine it with 4KIP200D or 4KIP200M and suitable Gigabit networking to route HDMI content through the building without a dedicated long HDMI cable for every source-to-screen path.

Give each endpoint a clear role
Connect the HDMI source to this encoder. A compatible decoder receives the network stream and supplies HDMI to its display; the encoder alone does not provide a complete source-to-screen installation.
Route content to the places it belongs
The matched system supports one-to-many distribution and matrix routing. Compatible decoders can also form supported video walls up to 8 × 8, with one decoder per screen and the required network capacity.
Keep configuration and audio accessible
VDirector provides the supported system control workflow. RS232 and stereo analogue audio connections support installation needs. Use a suitable PoE network port or the documented 12V/1A DC supply.

Match the product family
Use 4KIP200D or 4KIP200M. Do not assume compatibility with HDIP100, 4KIP100-KVM or unrelated AV-over-IP products.
Plan network capacity
Use suitable Gigabit Ethernet switching and cabling for the required number of streams. These compressed-video products are intended for distribution, not a promised zero-latency gaming path.

No. It is the named encoder or decoder. You need the matching endpoint and the appropriate link or network.
Does it carry a keyboard and mouse?
This model is for AV distribution. Choose a specifically documented KVM product for USB peripheral extension.
Can I mix it with any AV-over-IP brand?
No. Matching network connectors do not mean matching video protocols. Use the compatible model family.
