Connection overview. Check the requirements below for the exact ports, cable type and supported operating mode.

Distance with a clear cable plan
A direct category-cable connection supports up to 120m. The same product can work through a suitable Gigabit Ethernet switch when multiple independent transmitter/receiver pairs are installed.
Make sure it fits your setup.
Match the pair
Use the same model family and matching channel IDs. These KVM extenders are not interchangeable with 4KIP200E/200D video-distribution equipment.
Choose the right medium
Cat5e or better category cable. Use Gigabit switching and enough network capacity for all active pairs.
Power both ends
Use the supplied DC power adapters for the transmitter and receiver. This model is not powered by a standard PoE switch.
From unboxing to connected.
Plan the link
Match the cable type, total length and required resolution to this model’s limits.
Connect both ends
Put the transmitter at the source and the receiver at the display or USB devices.
Power the kit
Use the power connection specified for this model; then check the link indicators.
Test before installing
Confirm video, sound and any USB/control functions before securing the cable run.

A little clarity before you buy.
Can one transmitter feed several receivers?
This model is specified for independent one-to-one pairs, including pairs on a suitable network. Choose a dedicated AV-over-IP matrix family for one-to-many distribution.
Will it work with another AV Access decoder?
Do not mix product families. A similar enclosure or RJ45/fibre connector does not establish interoperability.
Is the longest advertised range available out of the box?
The 120m limit requires suitable cable and installation quality. Test your full video and USB setup before permanent installation.
