See it nearby. Send it further. Bring sound back.
Place the source equipment where it belongs and keep the viewing area uncluttered. 4KEX70L-H2 carries HDMI video and embedded audio between a matched transmitter and receiver over Cat6 / Cat6a / Cat7, making longer installed connections easier to plan.

Know what connects where.
Connection overview. Check the requirements below for the exact ports, cable type and supported operating mode.

Bring the picture to the right place
Use the transmitter beside the source and the receiver beside the remote display. The specified video limit is 4K at 60Hz; distance depends on cable type and the selected signal. Up to 70m is the relevant planning limit for this model.
Make sure it fits your setup.
The correct cable
Cat6 / Cat6a / Cat7. Use a properly terminated, continuous run within the documented distance.
Direct link required
Connect the labelled extender ports directly to one another. An RJ45 connector does not make this link compatible with a normal Ethernet switch.
Power and peripherals
Bidirectional PoC powers the pair from the supplied 12V/1A adapter at either end. This model is for video/audio extension; it is not a general USB extender.
From unboxing to connected.
Plan the link
Match the cable type, total length and required resolution to this model’s limits.
Connect both ends
Put the transmitter at the source and the receiver at the display or USB devices.
Power the kit
Use the power connection specified for this model; then check the link indicators.
Test before installing
Confirm video, sound and any USB/control functions before securing the cable run.

A little clarity before you buy.
Can I connect it through a network switch?
No. This model needs the specified direct link between its transmitter and receiver. Choose a documented AV-over-IP model for switched-network distribution.
Is the maximum distance the same at every resolution?
Up to 70m. Follow the model documentation for cable category and signal-specific limits.
What should I check if there is no picture?
Check input/output direction, power indicators and cable termination. Try a lower source resolution and a short known-good link before testing the installed run.
