Keep source equipment together
Connect up to four HDMI devices to the encoder and carry their streams through its network connection. Compatible downstream receivers select the required stream for each display.
Choose the receiving equipment for the job
Use 4KIP200D receivers for compatible display distribution, or a 4KIP200M processor when several source streams need to appear together on one display.
Make installation requirements explicit
The model’s user manual specifies a 12V/3A supply. This unit is not a PoE-powered encoder and does not provide an RS232 port. VDirector and the supported system controls manage source distribution.
Make sure it fits your setup.
Receivers are required
The four HDMI connectors are inputs. A screen needs a compatible downstream decoder; there is no direct HDMI display output on this encoder.
Network planning
Use appropriate Gigabit switching, cabling and bandwidth for four active streams. Confirm that all endpoints belong to the supported family.
Power the encoder
Use the supplied 12V/3A adapter. Do not rely on a PoE switch to power this model.

A little clarity before you buy.
Are the four HDMI ports display outputs?
No. They accept source signals. Displays connect to compatible receivers on the network.
Does it support PoE?
No. The model-specific manual specifies a dedicated 12V/3A supply.
Can I connect a keyboard and mouse?
This is an AV encoder, not a USB KVM extender.
