AV Access · AV-over-IP decoder

Bring a network video source to this screen.

HDIP100D is the display-side decoder in a matched AV Access distribution system. Combine it with HDIP100E and suitable Gigabit networking to route HDMI content through the building without a dedicated long HDMI cable for every source-to-screen path.

Give each endpoint a clear role

Connect this decoder’s HDMI output to the display, and select a stream from a compatible HDIP100E encoder. Each independently addressed display needs its own decoder.

Route content to the places it belongs

The matched system supports one-to-many distribution and matrix routing. Compatible decoders can also form supported video walls up to 8 × 8, with one decoder per screen and the required network capacity.

Keep configuration and audio accessible

VDirector provides the supported system control workflow. RS232 and stereo analogue audio connections support installation needs. Use a suitable PoE network port or the documented 12V/1A DC supply.

Before you connect

Make sure it fits your setup.

Match the product family

Use HDIP100E. HDIP100 and 4KIP200 are different families; do not mix them.

Plan network capacity

Use suitable Gigabit Ethernet switching and cabling for the required number of streams. These compressed-video products are intended for distribution, not a promised zero-latency gaming path.

Buy the required endpoints

This listing is for the named endpoint. Sources, displays, network switch and complementary encoder/decoder hardware are separate unless explicitly sold as a kit.

Getting started

From unboxing to connected.

01

Match the system

Choose compatible encoders and decoders from the documented product family.

02

Wire the network

Use Ethernet links and switching capacity appropriate to the number of sources.

03

Connect source and display

Place encoders at HDMI sources and decoders at their intended screens.

04

Route and test

Use the supported controls to select streams; check audio and any wall layout.

Questions, answered

A little clarity before you buy.

Is this a complete extender pair?

No. It is the named encoder or decoder. You need the matching endpoint and the appropriate link or network.

Does it carry a keyboard and mouse?

This model is for AV distribution. Choose a specifically documented KVM product for USB peripheral extension.

Can I mix it with any AV-over-IP brand?

No. Matching network connectors do not mean matching video protocols. Use the compatible model family.
